Streetlights, the exhibition at the Bag Factory in Johannesburg, was the culmination of a project that set out to explore and understand the city through the way it is illuminated. The project, made up of two components, mapped the infrastructure that provides this illumination.

The first component was a temporary website that archived and mapped a small percentage of the streetlights in the city. The second component comprised a series of workshops entitled Performing the Streetlamp.
